Anthropic has entered a significant seven-year cloud services agreement with Akamai Technologies valued at $11.6 billion, according to The Decoder. As part of the deal, Anthropic will receive a warrant for up to 5 percent of Akamai's shares, highlighting a strategic partnership between the AI startup and the cloud infrastructure provider.
The Decoder also reported that Anthropic's total compute agreements have reached $517 billion within the past 11 months, underscoring the rapid expansion of their cloud commitments.
