CCSH Corporation, the parent company of Yangtze Memory Technologies Corporation (YMTC), is planning an initial public offering (IPO) on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's Star Market. According to KrASIA, the firm aims to raise at least RMB 33 billion (approximately USD 4.9 billion) through the sale of 1.98 to 2.43 billion shares.

YMTC recently secured its position as the world’s third largest NAND flash chipmaker, highlighting the strategic importance of this offering. The IPO is scheduled to take place on August 21, marking a significant move for the Chinese semiconductor sector.

For Japanese investors, this listing underscores growing regional competition in the semiconductor market, a sector critical for both technology supply chains and equity portfolios.
