China’s drone exports to emerging economies grew substantially in the first half of the year, rising 26% to reach 2.42 million units, according to KrASIA reporting on data from China’s General Administration of Customs.
During the same period, exports of Chinese drones to the United States fell by more than 40%, reflecting a significant shift in trade patterns for these advanced technology products.
This trend underscores China's expanding influence in the global drone market, particularly in emerging regions, a development that Japanese investors and companies should monitor closely as it may impact regional technology competition and supply chains.
