Claude Code has introduced a built-in browser feature that enables its AI to open, read, and interact with external websites directly within its development environment. This update aims to streamline the AI’s ability to access live web content without leaving the platform, according to The Decoder.
To ensure security and user control, any write actions on external sites undergo screening by classifiers. Additionally, actions such as making purchases or creating accounts require explicit user approval, The Decoder reported. This safeguards against unauthorized transactions or unintended changes.
For Japanese markets, where integration of AI in trading and development tools continues to grow, Claude Code’s new capability could support more dynamic data retrieval and automation in FX, crypto, and equities analysis.
