Former US President Donald Trump has appointed Jay Clayton, the former US intelligence chief, to lead a newly established Super Intelligence Force (SIF). According to CoinTelegraph, Clayton will report directly to Trump and his Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles.

The creation of the Super Intelligence Force marks a strategic move to consolidate intelligence operations under a dedicated leadership structure. This new entity is expected to work closely with both the president and the chief of staff to enhance the country’s intelligence capabilities.

For Japanese investors, this development signals potential shifts in US intelligence and security policies that could indirectly impact FX and equities markets, especially given the close ties between geopolitical stability and market confidence.
