JD.com reported a rise in net income for the second quarter of 2026, even as its revenue dipped by 2.9% year-on-year to RMB 346.4 billion (USD 51.3 billion), according to KrASIA. The company’s net income attributable to ordinary shareholders increased to RMB 7.1 billion (USD 1.1 billion) from RMB 6.2 billion (USD 918.7 million) in the same period last year.

On a non-GAAP basis, JD.com’s profit grew to RMB 8.9 billion (USD 1.3 billion) from RMB 7.4 billion (USD 1.1 billion), reflecting an adjusted earnings growth of about 21%. This came despite a revenue shortfall of approximately RMB 10 billion (USD 1.5 billion) compared to the previous year, signaling improved operational efficiency.
