Kalshi’s newly launched 15-minute gold market has quickly gained traction, recording significantly higher contract volume and fees than Ether within just weeks of its debut. According to CoinTelegraph, gold contracts reached 542 million in September, generating an estimated $5 million in fees.

In comparison, Ether contracts totaled 318 million with fees around $2.6 million during the same period. This early outperformance highlights growing investor interest in gold markets on Kalshi’s platform, even as digital assets like Ether continue to dominate trading floors.

For Japanese traders, this development signals a potential shift in market dynamics as traditional assets such as gold are increasingly integrated into innovative crypto trading platforms, offering diversified opportunities beyond conventional cryptocurrencies.
