Lemmo’s folding electric bike, Zero, has attracted tens of thousands of orders following a partnership with Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio in 2025. The collaboration allows Lemmo to sell the bike through Nio’s lifestyle platform, Nio Life, expanding its reach to a broader customer base.
The Zero bike is priced at RMB 7,999 (approximately USD 1,200), with higher-end versions available at RMB 10,000 (around USD 1,490). This competitive pricing has helped fuel strong interest among urban commuters seeking compact and eco-friendly transportation solutions.
For Japanese investors and consumers, the success of Lemmo’s electric bike highlights growing demand for innovative micro-mobility options in Asia, a sector gaining momentum amid rising environmental awareness and urban congestion challenges.
