According to The Decoder, Nvidia is investing up to $3 billion in Lancium, a firm that currently has four gigawatts of power capacity under contract in the state.

Meanwhile, Amazon is constructing a gas-fired power plant in Texas with a capacity of up to 7.65 gigawatts. The Decoder reported that this facility could produce as much as 33 million tons of CO₂ emissions annually, raising environmental concerns amid the expansion.
