According to The Decoder, OpenAI is accused of pressuring mathematician Tristan Buckmaster to remove his Anthropic co-author from a significant paper on the Navier-Stokes equations. Buckmaster reportedly uploaded all his drafts to Codex, OpenAI's coding platform, during the process.

The Decoder also reports that OpenAI claimed its own breakthrough using a similar unconventional solution method. However, OpenAI denies any wrongdoing related to these allegations.
