The Pew Research Center has identified a notable surge in AI-generated content across English-language websites following the release of ChatGPT. According to The Decoder, their analysis of nearly half a million web pages revealed that more than one-third of pages published since ChatGPT's launch contain machine-written text.

The study also highlighted that commercial .com domains are ten times more likely to host AI-generated content compared to educational (.edu) or government (.gov) websites. This suggests that businesses are rapidly adopting AI tools to produce online material.

For Japanese investors and market participants, the growing prevalence of AI-generated content abroad underscores the accelerating integration of AI technologies in global digital communications, which could influence information dissemination and market sentiment.
