Silver prices fell to approximately $57.50 per troy ounce during the Asian trading session on Tuesday, reversing nearly 0.5% gains from the previous day, according to FX Street. This decline comes as investors await the Federal Reserve’s upcoming monetary policy announcement scheduled for Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Japanese Yen remained flat against the US Dollar, trading around 163.75 yen per dollar. The USD/JPY pair showed little movement as market participants adopted a cautious stance ahead of the Fed’s policy update, FX Street reported.

For Japanese investors, the Fed’s decision is closely watched given its influence on currency markets and the export-driven economy, where yen fluctuations can significantly impact corporate earnings and trade balances.
