Anthropic has introduced Claude Science, a new AI tool designed to support scientific research, now accessible to all paid Claude subscribers, according to MIT Technology Review. The announcement was made at an event held on Tuesday.

Claude Science aims to accelerate drug discovery efforts, particularly targeting rare and neglected diseases. This initiative aligns with Anthropic’s ongoing commitment to apply AI in life sciences.

In addition, in October, Anthropic launched plug-ins under the 'Claude for Life Sciences' banner, enabling Claude to interact with scientific software and databases. For Japanese markets, where biotech innovation and AI integration are rapidly growing, Claude Science represents a notable development in AI-driven research tools.
