The British Pound recovered some of its earlier losses against the US Dollar but still traded down by 0.15% near the 1.3220 level during the European trading session on Monday, according to FX Street.
Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index fell back after reaching a fresh annual high close to 102.53, indicating some easing in dollar strength amid mixed market sentiment, FX Street reported.
For Japanese investors, the modest movement in GBP/USD and the retreat in the US Dollar Index may influence cross-currency strategies, given the yen's sensitivity to shifts in the US dollar and global risk appetite.
