Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers BYD, Chery, and DFSK have unveiled their inaugural plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) in Indonesia. The launch took place at an automotive exhibition near Jakarta that opened to the public on July 30, according to KrASIA.
This introduction marks the first time these Chinese brands have presented PHEV models in the Indonesian market, reflecting growing interest in electrified vehicles in Southeast Asia. The Indonesian government has been encouraging adoption of green technologies, further supporting such product launches.
