Cloudflare has unveiled two new AI decision models, Clef and Clef-flash, designed to enable AI agents to make structured decisions independently, without human intervention. These models mark a significant step forward in automating decision processes within AI systems.

According to The Decoder, Clef-flash can deliver classifications in approximately 39 milliseconds, making it more than ten times faster than the existing TypeSafe AI model Jev. Both Clef and Clef-flash are built on the Qwen architecture, which is licensed under Apache 2.0, ensuring a flexible and open foundation for further development.

This development is particularly relevant for Japanese markets, where rapid and reliable AI-driven decision-making can enhance trading algorithms and risk management across FX, crypto, and equities sectors.
