Gold prices have continued to pull back after failing to maintain levels above the 200-day moving average, which currently sits near $4,510 to $4,540, according to FX Street.
Strategists at Societe Generale highlighted that gold is drifting toward an interim support zone around $4,095, with further downside potential toward $4,000 and the June and July troughs between $3,960 and $3,940.
This downward pressure on gold comes amid ongoing market uncertainty, which Japanese investors closely monitor as fluctuations in precious metals can impact risk sentiment and portfolio diversification strategies in the region.
