Gold prices dipped by approximately 0.33% on Thursday, retreating from recent levels as US Treasury yields recovered some of their losses from the previous day. This rebound in yields has put downward pressure on bullion, according to FX Street.

The strengthening US Dollar also contributed to the decline in gold, with the metal moving lower amid a firmer currency backdrop. The price of gold (XAU/USD) edged down from around $4,540 to near $4,509, reflecting the combined impact of these factors.

For Japanese investors, the interplay between US Treasury yields and the Dollar remains crucial, especially as fluctuations influence safe-haven assets like gold, which often see increased demand during times of economic uncertainty.
