Google has updated its Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash video model to improve AI-driven video generation by analyzing longer footage and introducing a faster draft mode, according to The Decoder. The model now reviews up to 10 seconds of existing video, rather than just the last second, allowing for more consistent scene extensions.
Users can extend scenes in 10-second increments, with a maximum extension of 40 seconds. Additionally, a new 360p draft mode has been introduced, which runs up to 60 percent faster and costs only one third as much as previous versions, making it more accessible for rapid content creation.
