Meta’s new AI agent, Muse, attracted over 500,000 users within its first week of launch and rose to the top position in Apple’s App Store rankings, according to The Decoder. This rapid adoption highlights strong initial market interest in Meta’s AI offerings.

However, Meta has acknowledged that Muse is "heavily inspired" by the open-source project OpenClaw, with some file names and content reportedly nearly identical. This has sparked discussions around intellectual property and originality in AI development.

The Decoder also reports that OpenAI is currently considering its response to Muse. For Japanese investors and traders, the swift rise of Muse underscores the increasing competition in AI-driven applications, which could influence tech sector valuations and innovation strategies in the region.
