Nvidia has announced a significant delay for its Kyber NVL144 AI server rack, now postponed to 2028 due to circuit board manufacturing issues, according to The Decoder. The delay exceeds one year, impacting Nvidia’s AI hardware rollout plans.

In addition, the Rubin Ultra variant of the server rack has been canceled entirely, further affecting Nvidia’s product lineup. The Decoder also reported that Asian suppliers involved in the supply chain have suffered market value losses reaching double-digit percentages amid these manufacturing challenges.

This development comes as competition intensifies in AI infrastructure, with companies like AMD and Google also pushing forward in the space. For Japanese investors and tech firms, the delay highlights ongoing supply chain vulnerabilities that could influence hardware availability and pricing in the domestic market.
