TIDAL has announced it will no longer allow monetization of AI-generated music on its platform. This move aims to address concerns around the authenticity and ownership of AI-created content.

According to TechCrunch, TIDAL will also implement automated tools to identify and remove AI-generated tracks that impersonate artists or groups. This step is intended to protect artists' identities and intellectual property from misuse in the growing AI music space.

For Japanese markets, where digital music consumption and AI technology are both rapidly evolving, TIDAL’s policy shift highlights the increasing importance of content authenticity and rights protection in the music industry.
