US stock futures showed mixed but generally positive movement during European trading hours on Thursday, as investors awaited the release of the US Producer Price Index (PPI) data. According to FX Street, Dow Jones futures advanced 0.36%, trading above the 52,600 level.
The S&P 500 futures also climbed 0.22%, reaching levels above 7,650, while Nasdaq 100 futures edged slightly lower by 0.04%, hovering near 29,430. Market participants appear cautious ahead of the inflation-related data, which could influence Federal Reserve policy expectations.
For Japanese investors, the movement in US futures ahead of inflation data is particularly relevant given the ongoing global interplay between US monetary policy and Japan’s equity and currency markets.
