Zhipu AI has introduced its latest update to the ZCode development environment, integrating the GLM-5.2 model to support long-context coding tasks. According to The Decoder, this upgrade comes with a free five-day trial allowing users to process up to 5 million tokens per day.
Subscribers to ZCode will benefit from an increased token quota, approximately 1.5 times higher, which will remain available through July 2026. This move positions Zhipu AI as a notable competitor alongside established coding AI tools like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex.
