Douyu announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of 2026, reporting revenue of RMB 981.1 million (USD 145.8 million). This represents a 19.4% increase sequentially but a 6.9% decline compared to the same period last year, according to KrASIA.
The company posted a GAAP net loss of RMB 72.4 million (USD 10.8 million) and an adjusted net loss of RMB 13.5 million (USD 2 million). Gross profit rose 12% year-on-year to RMB 159 million (USD 23.6 million), with the gross margin improving to 16.2% from 13.5% a year earlier.
Douyu’s sales and marketing expenses more than doubled to RMB 124.8 million (USD 18.5 million), primarily driven by increased branding and promotional activities.
